It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

This is the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batsmen to maintain a record if not afforded the possibility.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was out Australia needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

During that phase they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a major tournament.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she regretted not playing despite the injury.

Yet even as she afterwards confessed those physical issues have pushed back consideration of ending her career, this championship is expected to be her concluding event as leader in 50-over cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as leader.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her final mountain.
